Based on the original 1978 version by John Carpenter

Escaped mental patient, Michael Myers stalks his youngest sister Laurie in their suburban hometown of Haddonfield, Illinois.  As a boy Michael killed his older sister Judy, and was subsequently incarcerated for life in a mental hospital, with a Doctor Loomis treating him throughout his adolescence.  Upon his escape, Loomis contacts the local police then travels to Michael's childhood home, hoping to stop him before he kills Laurie...who is unaware of her real childhood (as she was adopted immediately after the murder).
